I tried my hand at drawing products and found Corel very useful for this task. Some of these components were drawn directly from the measurements of the item itself, and for the varying text on each of them I selected the closest one from the 700 fonts installed on my computer and modified them as necessary. I've found that more and more there are companies that utilize existing fonts for their logos because they are far easier than the old method...drawing them from scratch. These components are from an audio system that I have installed in one of my cars, and I have the full layout illustrated on another page.

All of these drawings were done in DRAW. The Trans Am was the first one I ever drew using version 5, and it just keeps getting easier to use. The image to the left was a tracing from an ink drawing I did on paper (the old fashioned way) and then re-created it in DRAW. If you couldn't tell, it is one single line...from point A to point B.

These photographic images were all modified using Corel Photo-Paint. The silver car to the right started as a two door, and the car next to it was a four door.
